IMPRESSIONS ... Rug Project {April 19, 2013}
A RUG CAN MAKE A HUGE IMPACT
Rugs can help separate living spaces plus provide a fun decor at a nominal price.
I discovered a website that allows you to design a rug/carpet: "Carpet Squares that you assemble to create custom rugs, runners or wall-to-wall designs of any shape or size"
Yes, you can choose a variety of colored/patterned squares and create a wonderful piece.
For $5.00, you can receive 3 samples that represent the color and texture before you purchase.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS ... Effort {April 12, 2013}
Keeping an occupied home properly staged and cooperating with showings and possible open houses requires a lot of effort from everyone involved.
Most sellers and their families only have the stamina to keep an occupied home properly appointed and ready to show for about 30 days. We realize that your stamina wanes so we suggest some encouragement strategies:
- Make it a family affair with your favorite music.
- Clean as you see it... See a stray newspaper ... Immediately pick up and put in recycle bin !
- Keep a quick cleaning supply kit in each area. For example, I suggest a sponge and all purpose cleaner in each bathroom.
- Check out "30 Thirty-Second Chores" at about.com for great cleaning inspiration !
