Fashion designer, Isaac Mizrahi, stopped by Martha Stewart's show a couple of years ago discussing Halloween fashions for your dog. Ahhh, if only we had a fashion designer to cut and sew costumes for our pets. Never fear, no work needed to sport your costumed furry friend. The Zs discovered simple hats for our Luke that already came assembled at Land of Paws. Three locations to serve the Kansas City populace:
Corinth Square ... 4021 Somerset Drive, PVKS 66208 ... 913.341.1011
Briarcliff Village ... 4155 N. Mulberry Drive, KCMO 64116 ... 816.587.2275
Deer Creek Marketplace ... 6772 W. 135th Street, OPKS 66223 ... 913.402.1033
If you are feeling creative and crafty after herding the kiddos, I found some ideas on the web to help:
- Superhero: Make a cape out of an old T-shirt and tie it around the dog's neck with velcro. You can add a superhero logo on the T-shirt, made out of felt paper and attached with either the glue-gun or some stitches.
- Fairy: If you have some leftover fairy wings from your child, redesign them with an elastic band so that they can fit on the shoulders of the dog
- Cowboy: Bandana
